The Defy 3D nozzle has an angled spray that improves coverage on vertical targets such as small grass weeds and soil clods as well as getting spray into crop canopies.
The first flat fan nozzle to be Lerap rated. Defy 3D Nozzles should be fitted in alternating direction along the boom and give best results at 50-75cm above the target at a speed of 12-14kph at 2-3 bar pressure and a spray rate of 100 l/h. The nozzle has a more uniform spray pattern reducing smaller droplets towards the edge of the pattern which are prone to drift. Optimum droplet size to maximise coverage with less bounce off so less spray is needed to get a good coverage onto the target. We are now also getting good results back from our customers growing potatoes.
